About this forum

Performance Truck Forum opened in June 2025 for people who own a truck that came from the factory built for the dirt: the F-150 Raptor and Raptor R, the Ram TRX, the Colorado and Silverado ZR2, the Tundra and Tacoma TRD Pro. The big brand forums are huge and mostly about the trucks that never leave the pavement. This one is small on purpose, and most of the people posting drive their trucks to work on Monday after a weekend in the desert.

It is run by Kyle B., mod_kyle_b on the boards. Kyle spent eighteen years as a line tech at a Toyota store in Cedar City and now teaches the auto program at a technical college in St. George, Utah. He drives a 2022 Tundra TRD Pro, has had it on the White Rim twice, and answers the contact mailbox in the evenings when the grading is done. The forum is member run. Kyle pays for the server himself and there is nothing for sale here.

House rules

  • Put your build line in your profile: year, model, engine if it matters, tire size, big changes. It shows under your name on every post.
  • Give the truck in every question, even if your build line already says it. Somebody reading in two years will thank you.
  • Buying reports need numbers. What you paid, where the truck came from, and what it cost to get it home and registered.
  • No selling trucks or parts in threads. There is no classifieds board, on purpose.
  • No tune files and no talk about removing emissions equipment. Those posts get deleted without a warning.
  • If you work for a dealer, a shop, a broker or an auction, say so in your posts. Shop owners answering questions is welcome. Employees posing as customers get removed.
  • Ford, Ram, Chevy and Toyota people share this place. Argue about trucks, not about each other.

What this is not

This is not a dealer, a parts counter or a service manual. When somebody here gives you a torque spec, a tire pressure or a fluid interval, check it against the factory manual for your truck before you put your weekend on it.
